Australian climate technology company Rumin8 announces three additions to its senior leadership team, as the organisation continues to build its capabilities.

The roles include a new Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Trials and Market Development.

New Rumin8 CFO Darren Hunt is a strong financial professional with considerable experience in the pharmaceutical, agricultural and automotive manufacturing industries, both mature and start-up.

His most recent position has been as CFO at Cell Therapies Pty Ltd.

New COO Mark Heath is an accomplished startup executive with a history of leading high-growth and high-scale ventures across a variety of industries, notably as Co-Founder of VOLY, and Country Manager for Cloud Kitchens in ANZ. His background also includes key positions at Uber Australia and Goldman Sachs.

Finally, Richard Quinlan has been appointed has Head of Trials and Market Development, where he will oversee the transfer of the products previously tested in small replicated trials to large scale on farm trials as well as market development as Rumin8 moves into a commercalisation phase.

Richard has considerable agriculture research and extension expertise, as a former executive and  director at prominent Western Australian agriculture advisory firm Planfarm since 2003.

Rumin8 CEO David Messina said each of the three new managers were excellent appointments in their own right, but combined would quickly form an impressive team to steer Rumin8 as it developed its range of anti-methanogenic feed and water additives.

“Each our new senior leadership is individually committed to making agriculture and the livestock industry more environmentally sustainable through the development of Rumin8’s anti-methanogenic feed supplements,” Mr Messina said.

“Their appointments reflect a growing maturity of the Rumin8 business and our intent to scale-up to meet the demands on our Company.”
